Swimming to the Breakwater

The following photo gallery was taken on June 18, 2007 as Carole Furr swam from North Beach in Burlington, Vermont all the way out to the breakwater in Burlington harbor.  She wore her wet suit, fins, mask, and snorkel and was really just doing it to see what it's like to swim in the open lake and how fast she could go.
