We've never attended the Pride Parade before so we said, what the heck, let's see what it's all about. If it hadn't started raining like crazy after the parade we might have spectated at some of the other events, but it did and we didn't. It was a fun little parade: kinda short, and all we got was one string of purple beads and a mini Frisbee advertising a local law firm (no idea why), but you couldn't top the crowds of onlookers for supportive spirit and enthusiasm.
Carole's in the pale yellow t-shirt and sunglasses. Jay's the bearded goofball in the sunglasses and blue t-shirt. The parade came right up the Church Street Marketplace in the middle of Burlington's downtown and ended up at Battery Park where the Pride Festival took place. We didn't go to that part; we had to get home and start work on an ark.
