Delicate Arch
On the evening of Wednesday, July 3, Carole and Jay hiked out to Delicate Arch, the most famous arch in Arches National Park, pictured on Utah's license plates and elsewhere as a symbol of the desert Southwest. The two mile hike across slick rock and desert at sunset was worth it when they got there at sundown and saw the Arch. On the way back they stopped and photographed some petroglyphs left by ancient Puebloans.
