Anne Stoops' Macaroni and Cheese

• 1/2 pound of macaroni
• 1 tbs. butter
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. dry mustard
• 3 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
• 1 cup milk

Boil macaroni and drain it per package instructions. 

Stir in butter and egg. 

Mix mustard and salt with 1 tbs. hot water.  Add to macaroni.

Add cheese, leaving enough to sprinkle on top.

Pour into a buttered casserole. 

Add milk and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
